This program is currently under application to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) for establishment in April 2027, and the plan is subject to change.
The program cultivates highly specialized professionals and research support personnel who conduct specialized research and development in one of the fields related to advanced information technologies and energy and environmental materials in private companies, universities, and national research institutions, who are able to understand and utilize the latest academic knowledge, and who can engage in the design and construction of social systems and the implementation of technologies in society.

Master of Science and Technology
The program cultivates researchers and highly specialized professionals who are able to independently conduct advanced research in one of the fields related to advanced information technologies and energy and environmental materials in private companies, universities, and national research institutions, and who possess both the ability to design and implement solutions for technological development and social implementation, and a broad understanding of social systems.
